Take Action: Join the Board of Directors

The term of the current board term comes to an end December 31st, 2023.

We are seeking nominations for a new Board of Directors for 2024.

The board of directors:

 

Our board consists of seven individuals who will devote their time, expertise, and enthusiasm.  The positions are voted in by the board after the seven members have been elected.

 

The positions are:

  • President

  • Vice President

  • Secretary

  • Finance and Treasurer

  • Member Relations

  • Driving Events

  • Marketing and Sponsorships

 

BMW Auto Club Québec is a non-profit corporation with a constitution and board members are insured by a Directorsand Officers (D&O) insurance policy.  Board member titles may be revised to reflect their centers of responsibility, but all members have equal voting power.   

 

Nominations:

 

We are accepting nominations from now until November 30th, 2023. 

You may nominate yourself or any other member in good standing. 

 

The nomination process: 

 

To nominate yourself, email your intention to election@bmwautoclubquebec.com, express that you would like to nominate yourself for the board.

 

To nominate a member, send an email to election@bmwautoclubquebec.com, express the name of the member you would like to nominate. It is best to have a discussion with the member you are nominating before nominating them; however, we will seek acceptance from the nominated member before placing them on the nominees list.

 

The election process: 

 

The election will be held on December 1st, 2023 using a computerized voting system

You will be selecting a total of 7 people to be elected to the board.

Each member will have the opportunity to vote for the 7 people, once.

Only members in good standing at the time of voting will have the right to vote.
